The Once In A Lifetime -Boldon In Bahrain DVD, is a College level, collage of lessons, from Geography, Economics, & Political Science, to Social & Cultural Studies, and HISTORY! All of which shows that Ato did his homework, and for that he deserves an A+!
I have watched it several times, and each time I learn something new. Like the fact that Trinidad is 8 times larger than Bahrain! Well done Ato and CNC3! You made us Trinis PROUD!

This dvd is the ultimate "Wish you were here!" postcard! I wasn't a soccer fan until you turned me on to the T&T matches...now I'm a Soca Warriors fan for life!
Congratulations on another successful effort, Ato! A Bahrain/Germany box set would make a great Christmas present!

This was definitely the next best thing to actually being there. What I liked was that in capturing the sheer ecstacy this moment brought for T&T citizens, Ato never lost the humor and picong that makes this DVD uniquely Trinbagonian.
From seeing President Richards drunk to Ato getting "sexed" playing small goal to Boldon calling out the Trini men for "lapsing" when the women were dancing by themselves to the steelband session...this DVD reminds us that there are no people on earth like Trinidadians and Tobagonians.
A World Cup DVD is a must!

Well I watch this DVD the other day and boy it was great.
The quality of the intro and all was impressive. I had seen it before with the downloads but watching the full thing again bring back the vibe.
Just having the DVD case with everything looking authentic make it worth having for down the line just to look at it. Needless to say I went and watch the Bahrain game again. I watch the first leg and will be watching the second leg later.
It would be a tradgedy if there wasn't one for the WC itself.
It good as a gift too...the kind you expect to get from/for football peongs.

Truly priceless! a job well done. It brought a greater sense of pride and joy to me to see the team so up close and personal..I even caught my wife (who is not a Trini) with tears in her eyes when she witnessed the passion of the players and the country which was captured in this DVD.

Not many people even in my own island of T. & T, would ever comprehend the high demension of patriotism Ato Boldon has displayed. Not only is he spreading his wings in the political arena as an independent senator but I believe he is focusing on the youth and hoping that as a role model he can accomplish a change of direction in the way young people approach life due to his internation and educational experience.

For some reason some duds got out there, but we estimate only about 30 out of 3000 of them have no menu for the chapters. I apologize and can replace those if need be...email me at ato@atoboldon.com
99% of them have the chapter menu. Thanks for all the reviews it makes me glad to see the work bear fruit.

You know a good documentary when it raises your pores, over and over again.
This DVD made me purchase 2 world cup tickets for the TRI-SWE game and I do not even know how I am making plans to go to Germany for 1 weekend!!!(due to work commitments)I know that I just have to experience this "Once in a Lifetime" opportunity!
It was great to see the likes of Hasely Crawford and Ato supporting our football team. The most important message that came out of this production was that sports unite a nation and can produce outcomes that are often seen as impossible!
"Boldon in Bahrain" is definitely a DVD to add to your time capsule! Everyone caribbean, not just trini, should own this.
Looking forward to the next part of the journey in Germany!

Ato, thanks for the signed copy.
The contents is great, and the additional footage makes the package even more complete. The bonus features include Bunji's music video and fan interviews during the celebration in Trinidad. The cinematography and editing are crisp and professional.
My only one suggestion for the next DVD (Boldon in Germany) would be to include chapters on the DVD. The Bahrain DVD plays like one big long chapter, so it's hard to jump to the spots you like.
All in all, in great piece of memorabilia and well worth the investment

This is an essential piece on any CD rack for a true Trinbigonian!
Even if you dont like football, it is a gem of a documentary.
Culture, passion sports, tradition, Trini-ness....its all there.
This is history boxed onto a DVD!
Watching it made me feel like November 16th, 2005 all over again.
I cant wait to show my kids this in about 20 years time!

I am thoroughly convinced. There isn't anything Ato cannot do. He handled the interviews exceptionally well. All in all, an educational, insightful and well put together piece of work. An unbiased video journey that let the actions of two countries speak for themselves. A must see for anyone breathing.
