Hi Ato,
Keep working hard. Goodluck to you in 2003. You have made Trinidadians all over the world proud. My name is Raj. I am the director of The Jamaica Father's Project. Which is located in Jamaica Queens. I came to New York like you and made a life for myself. We were both nurtured in the same community. Today with my job as the director of The Jamaica Father's Project I am giving back to a community which has been good to me and you.
The Jamaic Father's Project is a program geared towards getting young fathers involved in the lives of their child/children Physically, Emotionally and Financially. Being a better parent is the best gift you can give your child/children.
I am always looking for support within my program. If you can offer any support to The Jamaica Father's Project it will gladly be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Raj Samuel

..well i just wanted to say i wanted to be a 100m record holder, runner, being trini was just another advantage, =) eheh...watchin you in strong support in your meets in 1996, from then my dream had sparked,,,and i moved to canada when i was 12, forgeting my strengths, i had let the cold weather get the best of me, however this is my final year in high school, i decided to see where i stand in track, i recently ran 100m in 10.9seconds, and i have been steadlily working on my legs, and les than week ago i had pull my hamstring, my regional meet is in 3 days, and its killing me now,,cause i cant even walk and i wanted to be a 100m runner for my homeland like you, hopefully one day we will meet....you are my role model and more ...just wanted say thanks for you support, and i will tell u my results from this meet... kiel tewarie syco_trini@hotmail.com :D...ato is tha best!! im show dem how we west indian run!!!

I have actually been reading about the issues about black superiority on the track and what not and what haves. Culture? Genetics?
All of the sprinters who have broken 10sec (except for Silvio Leonard, at altitude), come from English speaking countries and are of African decent. Culture? Genetics? I think its a bit of both.
Now lets all shut up and lets talk about whos gonna win what on the track this season.
Who knows that big white, non English speaking Greek guy might be doing his thang again!
