Hey Ato, I don't know if you are actually going to read this but I just wanted to say good luck for the 2004 track season. My track season is also coming up and i'm planning on winning the Georgia State High School Championships this year for 300m hurdles and maybe the 110m hurdles as well. I remember the time that i saw you for the first time in my life, it was in Long Circlular Mall in St.James. You probably did not recognize me, but i surely did recognized you. By the way, my name is Mervyn Roberts, if you forget my name, you would most definitely be reminded when you hear my name in the Olympics and for breaking the world record in the 400m hurdles and the 100m hurdles. Hopefully I'll meet you sometime,
Mervyn Roberts

You need to shoot the press in this country. I was wondering where you were & it took me til like this summer to find out you were in an accident. I hope you recovery is going well cuz I want to see you back on top at 200 meters and medal in the 4x100 with your country. As for the 100...I wish you & Mo the best. Is it wrong for me to cheer for the both of you on your website?

I'm glad I can come to your log and read your opinion on a lot of different issues. What a versatile mind you workin wit! U must have been high school mates with this one kindred spirit!

I totally agree with you on the prize money thing.
I share similar views about schools pocketing millions in attendance, sponsorship, and merchandizing, while raking athletes through the coals for accepting a free T-shirt. A trickier situation.......but same pimping game.

Yup Ato. Thats a good statement there. There should be some prize money for the athletes that compete @ t he Olympics. Ought to have prize money for the athletes.....R.P.

I am really proud of you Ato. YOu stand really tall for all things. A saw the show on Tech TV. It was aight. Glad you were holding down your thing by promoting Track and Field. I haven't been to your site for a while. I Noticed that it has been redesigned somewhat. And that Drawing of you looks awesome. I really hope you get the gold @ Greece for all your worth. I see where it says this might be your last season. Well shoot, I expected that by this age you would call it quits. YOu aint getting younger. But know that what you did was appreciated especially by Peeps in the Caribbean. Look out for that new kid called Darrel Brown. He looked awesome when I saw him running @ the world Junior champioships in Jamaica. I'm over doing my writing, so I am a gonna end here. Kudos///.............R.P>

Ato, thanks so much for showing the reference to our Lord and savior; it takes a real man to express his love and faith in Jesus in an open forum, showing no shame! God bless you, please continue with your purpose driven life. You do not need any luck because God is in your life.

I caught you on Techtv and enjoyed the segment. Came to your web site and am grateful to see an athlete who is a real person, not wrapped all up in himself, and is just plain folks. I wish we had more role models like you in sports (I'm a high school teacher and see the untempered support of Kobe Bryant and other athletes who do bad things and get discouraged. You have given me hope for our youth!)
