Signing here yet again... just wanted to say that I'm very happy that everything's on track for you and that it just keeps on getting better the closer we get to Athens. You have always been supportive of me, and you've been greatly supportive during my great time of need the past few weeks, and know that it's greatly appreciated... and that you always have my support in all that you do in return.

hi ato. i have been your biggest fan since 1992 when you won double gold at the world jnrs. you gave the 100m your best shot in 1996 & 2000 & that is all we can ask for. you are the best up the backstretch and round the bend in the 200m and i expect you to be 10-15m ahead at the top of the straight. train like a beast & execute like you know how. win or lose in athens i will always consider you the greatest track athlete to ever represent the caribbean on the world stage. it is sad that you don't get your just due in t&t after all you've done to publicise the country.

Just started running track in my senior year of university, but am going to continue on as I pursue my masters. I respect your craft and completely agree that T&F is a great sport.
Ato, you are a breath of fresh air and a voice of reason in the sometimes bone-headed world of sports and sports media. Your point of view provides an excellent counter-balance. It is also nice to hear from an articulate and intelligent athlete to counter the stereotypes about dumb jocks. Great work. I wish you and Maurice all the best in Athens.

WOW, watch those numbers (hits) go up.
I guess everyone watched SPALK a week ago in Trinidad. I thank those of you who have taken the time out to send best wishes and good luck and the like to me, with 45 days to go to my 4th Olympic performance.
For those who planned/predicted my funeral last week in Trinidad, sorry to disappoint, but God didn't have me crawl out of that wreck on the PBR in 2002, to NOT have me fulfill my destiny in ATHENS in 2004.
Glad to see Powell and Bolt and my other Caribbean compatriots ready to go. This seems to be the year of the clean athlete. That means the Caribbean will enjoy unprecedented success, now that the cleaning is almost done. I'm not missing out.

I have really been a fan for quite a few years now and when you do well its an inspiration to me to carry on with my athletic career. Hi Ato,
Congratulations on a magnificient run and win in the 100m Trials for the Olympics. What I think most of Trinidad don't understand is as you said on SPALK on Gayelle (great performance) you have been MARRIED to athletics while the rest of us are just DATING it. I'm reminded of this quotation from Mike Litman, author of Conversations with Millionaires. He says, "People form habits and habits form futures" - enough said.
Wish you tremendous success in Greece in 46+ days. Hope you get the Gold in the 100m and the 200m. With the Greeks so high on their EURO Soccer triumphs to date it may be a challenge turning the tables on your Greek conqueror at the 2000 Olympics but again as Mike Litman says "Success is commitment to completion"
Stay healthy and focussed and THANKS for contributing to what I think after last weekend trials is a genuine revival in Track and Field in T&T.
Regards,
Michael & Rosemarie.

Hi Ato, it was indeed a great pleasure to see you on the Gayelle Show. I missed the National Qualifiers last weekend, but I knew deep down in my heart that I have absolutely nothing to worry about - you are a winner all the way.
I will be constantly praying for your success in Athens and it goes both ways. Meet me half way, Ato, you must chat with the Almighty. It's the only solution in your quest for success.
In conclusion, I do hope that your motivation will touch the hearts and minds of the youths, thereby inspiring them to begin their trek towards the stars before it's too late.
Remember, though, "a still tongue keeps a wise head".
Go for it man, with your 'bad' self.
May God bless and keep you in his safe hands, while placing you first at the finish line.

The critics are quiet.Great race at the National Qualifiers you have shown the entire nation what it means to be world class sportsperson. Your after the race interview with Anil was a lesson for our junior athletes. I hope that they took notes because they definately will have to to read them over and over before the olympics in Athens.
Ato you are an inspiration to the people of Trinidad & Tobago and I really hope that after winning your GOLD medal in Athens you will be able to spend a bit more time in T&T.
